In 2026, depth is no longer measured by duration. COME ON DOC is a focused ecosystem for debut short documentaries. We champion the first cinematic statement: sharp, surgical, and captured with the intensity that only the short form can offer.

THE STORYLaunched in 2024, the festival was fueled by a perhaps naive but remarkably strong faith in documentary cinema and the potential of emerging directors. In its short but intense history, our selection team has already engaged with hundreds of debut works, witnessing first-hand how new visual languages are born and how the "subjective gaze" begins to take shape. Our values are rooted in the necessity of being heard. We provide a platform where emerging filmmakers can find their voice and their audience without the pressure of the big industry machine. Our goal is to foster the documentary landscape in the Balkans and beyond. We aim to amplify young, bold voices and bring their worlds to the global stage, proving that the energy of a new generation can redefine the future of cinema. |

The directors of the winning films will be hosted by Auditoria, the festival’s official venue, located at Vojvode Dobrnjca 48.
We chose Auditoria because it provides a focused, human-scale setting for film screenings and discussions.
This aligns with the festival’s commitment to careful viewing and direct conversation between filmmakers and audiences.
Here, the screen is more than a surface; it’s a bridge where your subjective gaze meets a community that truly knows how to watch.
